My cousin Norman was killed in an auto accident yesterday.  He was 36 years old and leaves behind his wife Tonya. It is believed he might have died prior to the wreck and an autopsy is being performed.  Funeral arrangements are pending. Please remember the family in prayer during this difficult time.  ~  PB

Mike is recovering from major knee surgery (last week) and Debbie's father passed away in Georgia Sunday (yesterday) evening.  Debbie, Andrew, and Emily will be traveling back from GA. tomorrow (Tuesday) and the funeral arrangements are pending for later  this week (here in central ohio).  More info to follow.....

As most of you know, Jack Gessells our church elder, had a pacemaker put in yesterday afternoon.  All went well during the procedure and I just found out that he is now home and doing well.  He will have a few restrictions for the next couple of weeks, (no driving, no lifting his left arm), but he came through everything just fine... PTL!!!

Ernest is the husband of Betty Brooks who attends Hillview.  Betty is Joyce Moore's sister.  Earnest passed away last night with an apparent heart attack.  Please remember Betty and her family in your prayers

Wife of Rev. Roy Hutchinson passed away yesterday afternoon after an aparent heart attack. Roy was the assistant pastor of the Columbus 1st FWB Church where my wife and I were raised.  Roy is the former pastor and they are members of the Reynoldsburg FWB Church.  Roy is a part of the Ohio State Association of FWB's and serves on the mission board as well as being active in the Franklin Conference.  Please remember Roy in prayer during this extremely difficult time.

Yvonne Stevens son Harold is in Mt. Carmel East Hospital with an infection in his heart.  It is serious and he will probably be in the hospital for a couple weeks.  Please pray for Harold.

Please pray for my Uncle Ben Salmons.  He went to the doctor's for a checkup yesterday.  They found that he came close to having a heart attack.  They found that he had two arteries that were 95% blocked and a third that was 100% blocked.  Uncle Ben is going to have tripple by pass surgery on either Monday or Tuesday.  Please pray for my Uncle Ben and our family.

Missy France received this e-mail from her neighbor:  "Please pray for my nephew, Josiah.  While at home Friday morning (Sept. 12), Josiah pulled the families large t.v. on top of himself.  He is badly injured.  My sister and her husband have set up a website that tells Josiah's story and gives updates at http://www.caringbridge.com/  JosiahCarrier (one word).  Josiah is one of my sister's 1 ½ yr. old twins.  Thank you for your prayers!!  God bless, Jess"

I got an update on my brother (Mike Smith) today. He has colon cancer and had surgery that removed a tumor and 1 ft. of his lower colon. He is doing good, and has recovered from the operation, but the doctor said  according to the biopsy the cancer has spread beyond the colon and it is stage 3. He is going to have a port put in and start his chemo soon. So please put him on the prayer list for me.

Please pray for my son in law Chad and his unit. He is a firefighter and they have been dispatched to La for the hurricane. He will be doing search and rescue out of LaFayette La. They will be gone a minimum of 14 days. They can use lots of prayers. Thanks Sandy Hicks

I just received word that my cousin, Dane Clark, was in a terrible accident last night. He and a passenger are both in critical condition in ICU and they are not sure either will make it. Please pray for him, his friend, and their families. Also, he is not saved. Pray that whatever God's will is, that Dane will live long enough to seek and ask for salvation.

David is in the hospital with a severe case of pneumonia.  He is expected to be released in a couple days.  Please remember him in your prayers.

I just returned home from the hospital. I had to call 911 for my Mom who was having chest pain this evening. She has been admitted for Observation and will hopefully be home tomorrow evening, but don't know yet. She was having some bad chest pain and I didn't want to play around with it and called the squad to come and transport her to Mount Carmel East Hospital.

Please keep her and my sister and I in your prayers. I don't foresee this to be anything right now. All of her test have come back negative thus far, but they are going to do more blood tests during the night and possibly do a stress test tomorrow.

God had a reason for me to not be gone from home tonight and I am so thankful that I was here when this all took place. Just wanted to let all of my prayer warriors in on what is happening.
