He has made great progress. He is awake and alert. He still can't talk because of the trach but they will try to put the releif valve in later this week. They removed a bunch of the tubes so I think even he can see that progress is beeing made. 5 classmates visted him and extended support to his parents, thank you. Tomorrow should be his shoulder surgery. So keep those prayers coming.

Marty is the wife of Marji Miller's grandson.  She has been diagnosed with cancer and will be undergoing a tramatic surgery tomorrow (Monday) morning at Riverside Hospital.  Please remember her and the family in your prayers.

Please keep my nephew Arthur Barnes IV in your prayers.  His surgery went well and he can move his legs, but he has an infection that the doctors can't find the source of.  They have him pretty much sedated most of the time.

I received this from Holly Young this morning.  PLEASE remember him & his family in prayer. 

Arthur is the nephew of Holly Young.  He was severely wounded in Afghanistan when the tank he was riding in hit an IED (roadside bomb).  Hopefully, they will be able to stabilize him and transport him to a hospital in Germany.  Please pray for him and his family.

Please remember Cathy Donovan's brother William in prayer.  He has had a massive stroke followed by severe complications.  Cathy is traveling to Chillicothe today to visit him in the hospital.

Marji will be undergoing surgery at 8 a.m. Friday for a pacemaker to be installed.  Please pray for her.

Please remember Karri in prayer who is in serious condition in Mt. Carmel East Hospital.  She is the sister of Jacqui Ownby and Cyndi Ibarra.

Elder Jack Gessells' daughter, Krista, is in the hospital with a staff infection.  Please pray for her.

Please remember my mom, Sharon in your prayers.  She is currently in surgery at Mount Carmel West.  She has cancer in her uterus.  Please also remember my dad and brother as they are having a hard time with the situation.

Please pray for Jonathan, a friend of Jerry & Mona Young.  He was shot in his car as he was driving by a grocery store that was being robbed. He is in critical condition in the hospital.

Jake Carlino is the young son of some very good friends of ours and has been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called Ewing’s Sarcoma. They thought he was having back spasms but an MRI revealed the more serious problem.

This is obviously a huge shock to this family, so please pray for Jake and his family as they go through a very challenging time.
