information I just received from Kathleen about Bing. They need many prayers and
I am a TRUE
BELIEVER in the power of prayer.
Can we please post this on our church prayer
request?
Not sure how to start so I’ll dive right in.
For those who don’t know, Bing has a blood disorder called myelodysplasia.
We’ve known about it for 11 years. We’ve also known that it could eventually
lead to leukemia and a bone marrow transplant. While leukemia has not developed
yet, his hematologist has determined that it’s time for the transplant.
Bing has had to apply for a medical
retirement. We are going to the Cleveland Clinic on Wednesday to get started
with the transplant process. The only information I have right now I’ve gotten
from the Cleveland Clinic website and from looking up transplant and donation
information. We should have more personalized information after our trip
Wednesday.
We greatly desire your prayers. We know that
prayer works in mighty ways. We’ve got a long road ahead of us but we’ll get
through this as long as we remember who holds our future. God has promised
He’ll never leave or forsake us and we’re counting on that.
