There are several people who are experiencing tragedy and/or illness we need to remember in prayer:
1. Betty Skaggs brother-in-law, Dale Collins (age 62) passed away suddenly yesterday (Wednesday) unexpectedly.
2. Ruth Ann Miller, Marji Miller's daughter, had a stroke last week and they found three masses in her head. She is rehabilitating at a nursing home in Johnstown.
3. Von Howell's brother, Doug Boyd (age 58), had a stint put in last week but suffered a heart attack when it became blocked this week. He should be going home from King's Daughters Hospital in Ashland, KY today.
4. Doug Donovan will be having outpatient surgery today to insert a port for chemo therapy. He will begin therapy tomorrow.
5. Walt Fickle's dad, Harrison Justice, suffered severe burns working on a pick-up truck and is receiving treatment at OSU Hospital.
6. Art Walters, brother-in-law to Sandy Hicks and Nancy Havlin, is recovering/rehabilitating from a hospital stay in a nursing home in Whitehall.
6. My wife Cheri's grandmother, Nora Hayes (age 92 and grandmother also to Debra Paxton & Ann Jarrell), suffered a stroke Sunday and it was severe. Doctors give her little time before going home to the Lord.
There is a lot to pray for. Please pull away for a few minutes today and pray for these people who are going through very difficult times. It could be any of us and I'm sure we would want others praying for us.
