April 2008 - Posts

  • Abram Topy

I just got off the phone with Jessica.  She took Abram to the doctor with what she thought was a bad cold.  Turns out he has a major case of Asthma... which is a surprise to say the least.  He is having trouble breathing and if he does not improve in the next 12-24 hours, he is going to be admitted so they can keep an eye on him.  Please say a prayer for Abram as well as Jessica as Kyle is out of town this week.  Thank you all.

    God bless,

    Don Y

  • Jim Baker - 1

I received this e-mail from Geri (his wife) this morning.  Let's remember them in prayer.
As you might remember, Jim had an appointment with the surgeon yesterday. We got the news from the MRI on his back and neck. He will need another surgery on  his neck probably in June or July, 6 months after the other. He can go back to a desk job for now. No risk taking, no ladders, no bike rides- the neck is considered unstable as the disk has slipped and herniated already. Low back also has several layers of herniation and rupture but that takes a back seat to the neck.
Needless to say, he is glad to have it validate his symptoms but  depressing from the standpoint of limitations, and "not taking care of my end of things" as he says.  Thank you for keeping us in prayer.  Geri
  • Steve Fugate-2

There will be a memorial service for Steve's dad Jack Fugate on April 12th at 11 a.m. at the Liberty Presbyterian church in Powell. Please be praying for Steve and his family.

  • Steve Fugate

Steve called earlier and said his dad passed away.  He has been battling cancer for a long time. His dad, Jack, is a retired optometrist and is also a retired professor of optometry from the Ohio State University.  Jack' great love (other than his family) was tennis which he avidly played prior to his bout with cancer.  Please remember his family and especially Steve and his family in prayer.
